Fees

As Independent Financial Advisers, we are primarily rewarded on a fee basis, which can either be paid directly or taken from any portfolio established, as part of the remuneration options available.

Our current fee scales are as follows:

1. An initial consultation at our expense is available for potential clients within a 50 mile radius of Cambridge from 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday. Any appointments outside of these times or radius are subject to a £250.00 initial charge, which may be "waived" at our discretion. For existing clients the out of office appointment fee is reduced from £250.00 to £150.00 per visit.
2. Should formal investment advice be required, a charge equivalent to £150.00 per hour will be made, with a total initial fee being quoted at the outset, prior to any work being undertaken. Initial fees are subject to a £500.00 minimum fee, with initial fees being capped at £2,000.00.
3. On-going investment advice remains the cornerstone of the investment proposition provided to clients, with a pre-determined levels of service being provided for active investment clients. The annual fees that apply for the services provided are as follows:
   1. Portfolios valued between £25,000.00 - £250,000.00 = 1.00% per annum (fees are capped at a maximum)
   2. Portfolios valued above £250,000.00 = 0.50% per annum, but where advisor fees are capped at a maximum of £2,000.00 per annum.
4. For advice, reports or tasks requested that are not covered within the stated service levels, time will be charged at £150.00 per hour for advice related matters or £50.00 per hour for administration related duties.
5. Investors seeking a "LOW" cost investment solution, where no initial advice fees apply, may wish to consider the passive "risk" based portfolio solutions available. These are ideally suited for portfolios valued under £25,000.00 or for monthly savings investments.
